Antonio Cisneros
Antonio Cisneros | Program Director San Francisco Civic Center (Joined 2016)
Antonio grew up in the Tenderloin and has the kind of insider’s knowledge about the neighborhood you only get growing up in a specific place. That understanding and affection for the Tenderloin informs his role as program manager for the America SCORES Bay Area Civic Center League.
A first-generation American, Antonio attended Bessie Carmichael Elementary, followed by De Marillac Academy and Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep. He earned both his BA at St. Mary’s and an MA in counseling .
Antonio worked for two years as an after-school instructor for 4th and 5th graders at Redding Elementary in San Francisco. The experience confirmed what he had already discovered working as an intern in a community clinic servicing social security applicants from the very young to the very old —he likes best working with kids and teens.
In his spare time, Antonio plays tourist in his own city. Ask him about kayaking into McCovey Cove for a Giants game.
