Emily Fisher grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and still feels a strong connection to her mid-Western roots. The child of two physicians, she forged her own path after high school, heading to Colorado State University to earn a business degree and later to San Francisco to begin her professional career. After roles at the American Heart Association and the Royal Bank of Canada, Emily joined MuleSoft as executive assistant to the CEO (2016), riding with the company through an IPO (2017) and acquisition by Salesforce (2018.) Moving between the nonprofit and private sectors has given her a greater understanding of the ways the two can work together to fuel high-impact results.

Emily’s partnership with SCORES began in 2011 at RBC, where she helped form a team for the Corporate Cup. “People loved it,” Emily remembers. “Soccer broke down barriers in ages and backgrounds and brought people together.” Her relationship continued with SCORES through ongoing volunteer engagements. By 2020, after the birth of her two children, she was ready to join the board to help leverage the talents and skillsets at Mulesoft to help SCORES’ growth and digital transformation, an evolution given new urgency by the COVID 19 pandemic.

In her spare time, Emily loves to read, ride horses, and spend quality time with her family.
